Fighting for Cholera Victims in Haiti

October marked 5 years since the Cholera outbreak in Haiti.

To date, there have been 8,847 confirmed Cholera related deaths in the country, and nearly 800,000 people have fallen sick. Personally, I know that I struggle to empathize with statistics, and it is hard to fathom what 8,847 lives lost really means – but then I think about how much it would hurt to lose just one person I hold dear, about all the unique things I would miss about them and how deeply that pain would permeate my being.

Each one of those 8,847 people was somebody’s “one-person.”

We would like to direct you to visit FaceJustice.org where you will find the stories of Cholera survivors from Haiti.  FaceJustice is working to tell victims’ stories, one at a time, and demand justice for all those who have suffered.

We want justice for the Victims of Cholera in Haiti.
